Biography

Born in 1929, Peter Collis has built up a deep understanding of the structure and poetry of the Irish landscape, in particular of the countryside outside Dublin where he has lived and worked for the last thirty-five years.
He has had numerous exhibitions in Ireland, England and the United States and his work is included in public and private collections both in Ireland and overseas. Peter Colllis was elected a full member of the Royal Hibernian Academy in 1994.
